Wendell Louis Lester

Wendell Louis Lester, age 84, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Cumberland Medical Center on November 17, 2025.

Mr. Lester was born on December 17, 1940, in Crossville, TN, son of the late Fred Lester and Edia (Daugherty) Lester.

Wendell served our country in the United States Army, and he was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Thompson-Lester; daughter, Karen Lester; brother, Charles Lester; special niece, Tina Boggs; and several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Wendell is preceded in death by all of his other brothers and sisters.

Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 prior to the service.
