Thomas Charles Hering

Thomas Charles Hering, age 76, of Crossville, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 1st, 2024. He was born on Tuesday, May 18th, 1948 in Tohawanda, NY.

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Jean Taylor-Hering, and his brothers, Dale Hering (Barbara), Scott Hering (Laurie), and David Hering. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Hering, and his mother, Patricia (Chester) Hering.

Thomas served in the Navy and worked as an Inspector for the US Government. He was a proud veteran and dedicated worker. Tom enjoyed telescopes, viewing the night sky. He talked to people all over the world on his amateur radio as a seasoned HAM.

His wife, Betty Jean, would like to express her gratitude to everyone that has been a part of Tom's life and for all of their support over the years.

A private funeral service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service to honor and remember Thomas Charles Hering. He will be deeply loved and missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
