Sammy Warren Thompson

Sammy Warren Thompson, age 70, of Jamestown, TN, passed away at his home on February 10, 2023. Mr. Thompson was born on February 27, 1952, in Crossville, Tennessee, son of the late Willie Martin Thompson and Delzie (Tinch) Thompson. Sammy served in the United States Army and later worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved to hunt and fish, but best of all, he loved to cause chaos. He is survived by his wife, Angela Moore; children, Denise Thompson, Shawna Thompson and husband Chad, Brandon Hanks and wife Casey, Karen Tipton and husband Billy, Donna Thompson, and Vickie Hanks; along with 20 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Sammy is preceded in death by his son, Christopher "Pe'nut" Thompson. Family and friends will be celebrating Sammy’s life this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, February 11, 2023 and February 12, 2023 in Jamestown, TN.
