Robert L. Smith

Robert L. Smith, age 85, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Cumberland Medical Center on February 11, 2026.

Mr. Smith was born on September 9, 1940, in Bledsoe County, TN, son of the late Willard Low Smith and Myrtle Mae (Campbell) Smith.

Robert was an auto mechanic.

He is survived by his children, Donna Knight (Joe), Susan Landowski, Jeremy Smith (Amanda) and Charity Blaylock (Allen); former wife, Carol Smith; grandchildren, Cristina Bennett, Kim Green, R. J. Landowski, Tanner Landowski, Holly Landowski, Rayna Cooper, Daisy Smith, Jaden Easterly, Joe Smith, Ethan Blaylock, Madison Davis, Jasmine Smith, William Blaylock and Rosalee Smith; great grandchildren, Chloey Green, Lyric Bennett, Tava Bennett, Connor Green, Celtic Green, Kyler Bennett, Olivia Cooper and Dean Cooper; siblings, Mary Parker, Edna Burgess, Arnold Smith, Helen Savage and Charles Smith .

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Sonjia Parsons; son, Robert Eugene Smith; and siblings, Melvin Smith and James Wilburn Smith.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Ben Smith Cemetery in Pikeville, TN.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to noon at Bilbrey Funeral Home prior to the Graveside Service.
