Richard Oscar Rau, Sr.

Richard Oscar Rau, Sr., age 95, of Fairfield Glade, TN, passed away on June 27, 2025.

Mr. Rau was born on May 11, 1930, in Frankenmuth, MI, son of the late Oscar Rau and Evelyn Rau.

Richard retired from General Motors in November of 1988.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Rau, Jr of Crossville and Daniel (Judy) Rau of Spring Lake, MI; daughters, Sally Reeder of Grant, MI, and Barbara (David) Robinson of Grand Rapids, MI; 12 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; and brother, Ray (Louise) Rau of Rochester, MI.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Esther Rau; sons, Steven James Rau and Joseph John Rau; brother, Bill; and sisters, Peggy and Jeannette.
