Pauline Vivian Bautz

Pauline V. (Sutton) Bautz, age 100, of Crossville, TN passed away on March 14, 2026, at her home.

She was born in Newark, Ohio on June 28, 1925, to the late Ray F. Sutton and Gladys M. (Flannigan) Sutton.

A 1942 class graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Mansfield, Ohio, Pauline married Jacob J. Bautz on September 22, 1945, in New York City. She worked at Westinghouse in Mansfield, Ohio during WWII and later at Faultless Rubber company in Ashland, Ohio before retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida where she later volunteered at Bethesda Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her sons, Jerald (Christine) Bautz of Sanford, Florida and Timothy (Michelle) Bautz of Crossville, TN; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jacob J. Bautz; sisters, Viriginia Myers of Mansfield, Ohio and Jeanette Wilson of Ashland, Ohio; and brother Robert Sutton of Mansfield, Ohio.

Per Pauline’s wishes, there will be no funeral services, just a private family memorial at a later date.
