Mildred Marie Moore, age 86, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Cumberland Medical Center on Friday, April 24, 2026.
Mrs. Moore was born on November 29, 1939, in Crossville, TN, daughter of the late Homer Barnes and Nellie (Rines) Barnes.
She worked at Cumberland Medical Center for over thirty years in housekeeping.
Mildred was very family-oriented and loved all of her family dearly.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Wilson, Brenda Moore (Kenny) Reese, Darlene (Benny) Evans, and Robin (David) Myers; sister, Sudie Maynard; brother, Charles Barnes; grandchildren, Chrissey, Little Danny, Nelson, Carrie, Jamie, Melissa, BJ, Cory, and Matthew; great grandchildren, MJ, Emily, Ethan, Allie, Trinton, Autumn, Chase, Kylie, Logan, Olivia, Brooke, Adaline, Lux, Maze, Karsyn, Gracie, and Stella.
In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Thomas Moore; sisters, Pearl Matthews, Lucille Mooneyhan, Berthie Sherrill, and Joyce Davis; brothers, Clayton, Arlie, Denzle, Buck, Clifford, Bobby, and Gordon Barnes; and son-in-law, Danny Wilson, Sr.
Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Newton Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with service expenses.
