Madella Ruth Vanderford

Madella Ruth Vanderford, age 97, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on January 2, 2026, at Cumberland Medical Center.

Mrs. Vanderford was born on December 15, 1928, in Oklahoma City, OK, daughter of the late William McNutt and Edith (Ingle) McNutt.

She is survived by her daughter, Jaye Brownstead (Bro. JJ Brownstead); grandchildren, Anthony Evans, Marcus Evans (Debra), Jared Evans (Ashley), Christina Evans (Chris), John Montgomerey (Brandy), and Isaiah Keck; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, JP Vanderford; son, Perry Vanderford; great granddaughter, Millie Evans; brothers, Raymond and Marvin McNutt.

Funeral Services will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service. Burial at Corinth National Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi at a later date.
