Lancer Dwayne Goss, age 42, passed away on March 26, 2025. He was born on May 12, 1982, in Crossville, TN. He is survived by his 3 children, Destiny (Michael) Smith (24), Brooklyn (Travis) Meadows (21), and Hunter Goss (13), along with the children’s mother, Rachael Woodard. He is survived by his mother, Julie (Curt) Hill; sister, Dana Walker and her children, Caleb, Jacob, and Lucas; sister, Angela Star Goss; brother, Jeremy Goss; aunts, Michelle Barnacz, Barbara Norris, Mary (Jack) Henry; uncles, Adam (Cindy) Findley and James Findley; as well as tons of cousins. He was very loved by all his family. Lancer was one of the best concrete finishers in the Upper Cumberlands. He was a New York State Wrestling Champion for Clifton Fine High School. Thanks to his stepfather, Tim, he could drive a tractor trailer anywhere and use heavy equipment. He loved laughing and joking around. Lancer loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles and looking for arrowheads with his brother, Daniel Whitehead. He loved watching his children. Brooklyn, while she played softball and volleyball. When Destiny sang it brought him so much joy. He also loved hearing Hunter play the guitar. He really loved Bluegrass music he got from his dad, Junior. Lancer is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ethel (Levell) Jones; maternal grandfather, Donald Findley; fathers, Tim Thomas, Junior Norris, and Gary Goss; paternal grandparents, Robert and Marie Goss; uncle, Mac Hassler; brother-in-law, Tony Garrett; and cousins, Brandon Webb and Donnie Hassler. Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service.
