Kelly Douglas Bilbrey

Kelly Douglas Bilbrey, age 58, of Crossville, TN, passed away on July 4, 2026.

He was born on April 8, 1968, in Crossville, TN, son of the late Honald Ray Bilbrey and Amy Dean (Wakefield) Bilbrey.

Kelly was a CNA at the Hospital. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Kelly was an accomplished musician and specialized in organ music. He played for several different churches at various points in his life and for weddings and holiday events.

Kelly loved people and had a special gift for recognizing people who needed a helping hand or encouraging words. He was also very fond of animals and over the years had cats for his companion.

His family and friends loved him because of his special way with people and feel a great loss at his passing.

He is survived by brothers, Honald Scott Bilbrey (Crystal) and Christopher Bilbrey; nephews and nieces, Scott Bilbrey II, Gentry Brown, Tabitha Doyle, Alexandria and Kyle Quince, Stephen Bilbrey II, and a host of other nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great aunt, Jonnie Hale; special friends, Christine McDowell and Starla Armes.

In addition to his parents, Kelly is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Bilbrey; and grandmother, Reba Wakefield.

A Memorial Service will be held at Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Brother David Starr, Sunbright First Baptist Church, will be officiating.
