Joy Lyn Chesser, age 64, of Crossville, TN, passed away on February 25, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Knoxville, TN.
Ms. Chesser was born on April 7, 1961, in Long Beach, California, daughter of Donald L. Richard and Betty J. (Jones) Richard.
Joy was in accounting at an auto body shop.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Chesser; daughter, Aimee McCoy (Christopher); stepdaughter, Nicole Jast (Alfred); brother, Dennis Richard (Lena); sisters, Laura Bennett (Edward) and Robin Powers; grandchildren, Katelyn Chesser and Skylie Chesser; and aunt, Nancy Jones.
Joy is preceded in death by both of her parents.
Memorial Service will be held at West Side Baptist Church on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM with Bro. Caleb Norris officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
