James H Rogers

James H. Rogers, age 91, of Crossville, TN, passed away at WyndRidge Health & Rehab Center on September 2, 2026.

Mr. Rogers was born on January 22, 1935, in Gainsboro, TN, son of Dewey Rogers and Ruby (Jenkins) Rogers.

James was beverage distributor for Pepsi, Coke and Dr. Pepper, and drove a “Tom’s” truck for several years.

He is survived by children, Marsha Davis (DeWayne), Terry Rogers, and Scott (Lisa) Rogers; stepchildren, Barbara (Steve) Hassler, Ida Brown, J.R. (Merlene) Brown, and Willie Brown; sister, Betty (Rogers) Blair; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Lois (Brown) Rogers and his second wife, Floralee (Banta) Rogers; brother, Hugh Rogers; and sister, Helen (Rogers) Cherry.

Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Big Lick Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
