James Matthew Kraus, age 86 of Crossville, TN, passed away at his home on November 23, 2025.
Jim Kraus was born on April 9, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Roland Paul Kraus and Gladys (Matthews) Kraus.
Jim worked his entire career in sales and marketing for 3M Company.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathy Kraus (Stadler); children Heidi Minick (James), Tedd Kraus, Andrew Kraus (Cindy), Jon Kraus (Julie); grandchildren, Grant Minick (Emma), Emily D’Alesio (Donald), Olivia Kraus (Nick), Brendan Kraus, Jaiden Kraus, Jensen Kraus; and great grandchildren, Maggie Minick and Thomas Minick.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Blodgett and his late wife, Wendy Ross.
Services will be held at Cumberland Fellowship on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:00pm with Jon Kraus and Pastor Sam Tollett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jim’s memory to Christian Academy of the Cumberlands 325 Braun St., Crossville 38555; or Mission Bible Training Center 3889 Sparta Hwy, Crossville 38752 are much appreciated.
