George Bolin Young, II passed away peacefully at his home on December 13, 2025 at the age of 72.
He was born in Crossville, Tennessee on February 1, 1953, the son of the late George Bolin Young and Frances Dooley Young.
George graduated from Tennessee Tech and was the owner of Woodmere Skating Rink for many years.
He was married to his devoted wife, Era Wheeler Young, for 53 years and together they had a son Bo Young (Jamie). George will always be known for his strong love of family. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Ariana, Brachae, Berkley, Mercedes, and Lexi; great grandchildren, Ace and Rivvy Jo, sister, Beverly Young Monk. His sisters-in-laws, Betsy Swafford (John), Linda Thompson (Jim) and Valerie Calcagno (Rich) a host of nieces, nephews and his many lifelong friends.
George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances Young, sisters, Vickie Tollett and Leslie Rector and nephew Virgil Thompson.
Services for George Bolin Young, II will be December 17th with Bilbrey’s Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Keith Cole to officiate. The family will receive visitors from 1pm to 3pm with burial to follow at the Crossville City Cemetery.
