Edna Dean McNeal

Edna Dean McNeal, age 65, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on November 27, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. McNeal was born on October 3, 1960, in Crossville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Ernest Leon Ball and Margaret (Grant) Ball. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, and great nana.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leslie McNeal; daughters, Valerie Burgess (Brandon) and Lesley Walker (Brandon); grandchildren, Jamie Nichols, Lindsey Thurman (Dillon), Dakota Morgan, Nathan Morgan, Neyland Walker and Ashley Burgess (Greg Wilkey); great grandchildren, Mason Caruthers, Brayden Thurman, Caisson Thurman, Owen Thurman, Laikyn Thurman, Keatyn Thurman, and Ashlyn Burgess; special nephew, Steven McNeal; special great nieces, Blake McNeal, Waylynn McNeal and Taytum McNeal; brothers, David Ball, Raymond Ball (Reba); sisters, Charlotte Phillips, Thelma Phillips, Linda Pesnell (Glenn), and Pat Garrett (Randy); as well as many other loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her nephew, Anthony Phillips; great nephew, Joseph Ball; father-in-law, Boyd McNeal; brothers-in-law, Calvin Phillips, Steve McNeal and Charlie Bolles; sisters-in-law Kathy Bolles, Sylvia Lewis and Lisa Barnwell.
