Cosby Cecil "Sonny" Hatfield

Cosby Cecil “Sonny” Hatfield, age 82, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on August 8, 2024, at Cumberland Medical Center. Mr. Hatfield was born on May 26, 1942, in Crossville, Tennessee, son of Cosby Herlin Hatfield and Elsie Mae (Delk) Hatfield. Sonny served in the United States Army and then worked in the retail industry. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Faye (Oakes) Hatfield of Crossville, TN; daughters, Melissa Wright (LD) of Crossville, TN, Marcia Kuhn (John) of Crossville, TN, and Cathy Melton of Crossville, TN; sons, Charles Hatfield of DeRossett, Sparta, TN and David Hatfield of Crossville, TN; grandchildren, Dylan Wright, Joey, Michael, Kaylee, and Savannah Hoskins, Bentley Pryor, all of Crossville, TN, Chloe Melton of Knoxville, TN, James and Jake Hatfield of Sparta, TN; great grandchildren, Ridley and Roland Hoskins of Crossville, TN; sister, Patricia O’Donnell of Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Elsie Delk and father, Cosby Hatfield; brother, George Hatfield. Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Crossville City Cemetery.
