Brenda Joy Beaty

Brenda Joy (Dunaway) Beaty, age 74, of Pleasant Hill, TN, passed away at Uplands Village on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Ms. Beaty was born on Monday, April 18, 1949, in Crossville, TN, daughter of Jim Dunaway and Pearl Dove (Monk) Dunaway. Brenda was a cook and of the Baptist Faith. She loved the outdoors. Brenda loved animals and children. She was a wonderful cook and an avid reader. She loved music, singing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She was loved by many and missed by all. She is survived by daughters, Tammy Sharp, Janice Cross (Gary), and Cheryl Ceely (Marcus); grandchildren, Danielle Neagley (Josh), Colby Bridwell (Ashley), Brittany Bowman (Jordan), Detroit Smith (Kali), Jered Smith, Josh Cross, and Eric Cross (Lindsey); great grandchildren, Zeke, Lexli, Lyla, Saylor, Josie, Charlotte, Ellie Pearl, Dallas, Elisha, Isaac, Alexie, and Rhett; great great grandchildren, Levi and Parker; sisters, Sonya Seitz (Stan) and Alecia Dille; brother, Jimmy Dunaway; sisters-in-law, DeAnna Dunaway, Olivia Dunaway, and Linda Dunaway; and host of loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by brothers, Sewell Dunaway, Danny Dunaway, and Terry Dunaway; brothers-in-law, Robert Dille and Rick Patton; sister-in-law: Sherry Dunaway; nephews, Eric Dille and Danny Joe Dunaway. The family will be having a dinner at the Disabled American Veterans at 486 Sparta Dr Crossville, TN 38555 Friday December 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
