Bobby Clarence Rogers passed away July 3, 2024 at Cookeville Medical Hospital in Cookeville, TN. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, May 13,1943. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Walter L Rogers and Naomi Osborne Rogers of Jacksonville, FL and a brother, Alex Walter Rogers (Pam) of Jamestown, TN. He has a sister, Donna Stout (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his wife, June Zamoyta Rogers, sons Robert C., (Patricia) and Walter L. Rogers. Grandchildren, Bradley, Michael (Britney), Jarrod, Nicole and 6 great grandchildren; Carson, Skylar, Bryleigh, Levi, Nathaniel, and Thomas. Bobby and June loved many young people and claimed them as their own and could not all be named. He had many Nieces and Nephews. They were one of his greatest joys to be a part of their stories and seeing how they navigate together in love and harmony. Bobby was retired from the CSX Railroad, and served in the United States Army. He loved God, Family, and His Country. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. A quote to Nicole “It’s been a long, windy journey, but it’s a journey l wouldn’t miss. it was definitely worth the trip.” Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Wolf River Cemetery in Jamestown, TN on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
