Beatrice Inez Human

Beatrice Inez Human, age 90, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away on February 10, 2024, at Cumberland Ridge Assisted Living Facility in Crossville. Mrs. Human was born on October 30, 1933, in Crossville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Willie David Davenport and Virdie Eva (Humphrey) Davenport. Inez worked as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio and was a member of the First Church of Nazarene. She was known throughout the community for her sewing and quilting skills, and she loved serving others in the Girl Scouts and other children’s ministries. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Long, Violet Long, and Rhonda Stevenson; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Frances Garrett; brothers, Glenn Davenport, JE Davenport, and Lowell Davenport. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) G. Human Sr.; son, William (Billy) Human Jr.; siblings: Preston Davenport, Evelyn Henry, Jewell Sherrill, Cora Henry, Tommy Davenport, Dee Davenport, Denton Davenport, and Rachel Brown; son in laws, Jim Long and Don Pearson. Funeral Services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM followed by burial at Clarkrange Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
