Austin Michael Wickham (November 1946 – August 2025)

Mike Wickham, aged 78, passed away on August 9, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, then spent most of his life in the Detroit area, ultimately retiring back to Tennessee. Mike lived a full life devoted to his family and friends, his passion for Real Estate, and his love of Golf.

Mike was a dedicated husband to Gayle and devoted Father to Michael, Diana, and Jimmy. He was a proud grandfather of five grandchildren (Kyle, AJ, Kaitlin, Hayden, and Kelsey) and a source of great entertainment to his daughters-in-law Cheryl (Michael) and Paula (Jimmy). He was fully engaged in the lives of his family. His priorities were clear to everyone who knew him.

He touched many lives as both a Realtor and Builder serving the Southeast Michigan community for nearly 50 years. He helped many of his friends purchase their first home and a few subsequent homes. Later in his career he transitioned from Realtor to Builder, building some custom homes for the very same people he got started on their home ownership journey.

Later in life you could always count on him when the weather was right to organize a golf outing for his friends and neighbors. The annual golf outing with many of his close friends from high school (Cody High School, Detroit MI) was an event he always looked forward to and had wonderful stories from. His “Cody Crew” was always a big part of his life! Always quick to start a political argument with his friends, and then just walk away.
