Office & Chapel Entrance

Office & Chapel Main Entrance Foyer

A feeling of warmth and a friendly welcome greets you at the main entrance to the office and to the Chapel area in the older section of our facility.  Whether you enter here on business at the office or for a visitation and/or funeral service in the Chapel the traditional style fireplace, elegant wood trim, and home style surroundings offer a comfortable setting to make you feel at home.

Lounge Area

A large lounge area near the office and Chapel provides a comfortable area for our visitors and families whether here on business or for visitation and/or a funeral service.

Bilbrey Funeral Home was the first funeral home in this area to offer  a traditional church style Chapel for funerals and/or visitations.  This Chapel has an appeal of warmth and comfort, featuring an all wood cathedral style ceiling, carpet, surround sound, adequate floral display areas and many other features for the comfort of our families and visitors.

Chapel Main entry for evening & night time visitations/funerals

We feature a large lounge and foyer area for our family and visitor comfort.

Two spacious Staterooms are located off of the lounge area for families to receive visitors and/or for public or private viewing and/or funeral services.

Kitchen Area

A kitchen and dining area for your relaxation is located just off the visitation lounge area.  Adequate rest rooms are located down the hall from this area.

Adequate parking is provided on a one-half city block parking lot across from the main entrance to Bilbrey Funeral Home.  This parking lot is accessed by South Webb Ave., South Thurman Ave. and from East Adams Street. Additional parking is available beside our drive through breezeway and if needed parking is also available at the rear of the funeral home in our employee and delivery parking area.

When families and friends are arriving for funeral services and plan to drive to the cemetery after the service our on site staff typically will pre-park them on the side of the street next to the funeral home.  This provides an orderly means to prepare for the procession to the cemetery after the funeral service.

Visitor parking for visitation purposes when there is not a procession involved is typically done in the large parking lot across from the front of the funeral home entrances.

If parking for business purposes we prefer that you use the parking lot across from the steps and porch at the funeral home main entrance on East Adams Street.
